Reita Faria Powell
In 1966, Reita Faria became the first Indian to win the Miss World title. She is also the first to win a global beauty paegant title. She chose to continue with her medical studies and stayed away from modeling and films.
Reita Faria completed her M.B.B.S. degree from Grant Medical College & Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals. Turning to her roots, She served as a judge at Femina Miss India in 1998. She lives in Ireland with David Powell and is a mother of two and a grandmother of five.
